My question is to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister, early childhood education and care is facing a reckoning, with an epidemic of safety and quality concerns. In Brisbane, seven centres have shut down with just a day's notice, leaving families stranded. We wouldn't accept Australia's primary and secondary schools being run for profit and shutting on a whim. Isn't it time for the government to guarantee safe and high-quality early childhood education to all Australian families?
