Tim Wilson Goldstein, Liberal Party, Shadow Treasurer

I withdraw, because the reality is we can't withdraw the inflation pressure Australians are living with. We would scrap housing bureaucracies that don't build homes, climate bureaucracies that don't cut emissions, corporate welfare that feeds the friends of the government and welfare for future noncitizens, which means we can get our budget back on a sustainable footing to actually advance the national interest and advance the interests of Australians first, as well as making sure we cut down the organised crime that feeds off illicit tobacco and is a lived experience of the Laffer Curve. We have organised crime coming in and enjoying super profits, and the only answer we're getting from this government is to protect the organised crime. There is a chance. There is hope, but it comes from a change of government and certainly a change of this treasurer.
