This, together with their new deputy leader, was one of the policy architects of the debacle that was the last election campaign. And that's why you can look at past performance, because they managed to go to an election saying they would oppose and reverse tax cuts, but they still had a higher deficit—higher taxes and higher deficits is what they came up with. Then, with regard to the budget the other night, they've said that this will create fights around the family dinner table. That's where they get aspiration and Australians all wrong, because not only do Australians want to get ahead but they want their children and their future generations to get ahead.
