Senator Fifield took the words out of my mouth. I might need a slightly bigger size in that T-shirt, Senator Madigan! But, of course, I would proudly advocate for Australian industry, including by wearing such a fetching garment.

SEnator Brandis's comments are dwarfed by but=his giovernemnt buying CHICOM Uniforms, Indonesian Boots, Japanese Subs and Italian Spartan replacements for the Caribou in the latter case years after the original planes were grounded.
The failure of Australian both ALP and Coalition Governments to build a aircraft industry is a disgrace. The Caribou replacement would have been an ideal aircraft to build. If Italy can build Spartan Aircraft so can Australia. If Greece can build NAMCO 4*4's so can Australia. Leave this bunch in power and the replacement's for Land Rover will come from China or Argentina.
