Order! I have received letters requesting changes in the membership of committees. I draw the Senate's attention to there being two nominations for a number of committees. In accordance with standing orders, a ballot will need to be held to determine which one of two senators nominated will be appointed to the committees. I understand that it is the wish of the Senate that the ballot be held later today.

You can speak to the motion. That's fine.

Can I seek clarification on exactly what this is doing. There has been a lot of—which committee is this? I do apologise.

I can provide you with the list, but it's not anything controversial. It's the ones as agreed. It's the normal agreed discharging and putting on. It's not the contested one.
Question agreed to.
