That—

Tuesday, 29 November 2022

(1) The routine of business from 6.30 pm to not later than 9.30 pm today be government business only for the consideration of the following bills:

National Anti-Corruption Commission Bill 2022

National Anti-Corruption Commission (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2022

Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022 (second reading speeches only).

(2) Divisions may take place after 6.30 pm for the purposes of the National Anti- Corruption Commission Bill 2022 and a related bill only.

(3) The routine of business then be:

(a) adjournment proposed; and

(b) after not more than 1 hour (5 minute speeches only), adjournment.

Wednesday, 30 November 2022

(4) The hours of meeting on Wednesday, 30 November 2022 be 9 am till 11 pm.

(5) Proposals under standing order 75 not be proceeded with.

(6) If the question on the second reading of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022 has not been determined by 6.30 pm, the question be put.

(7) The routine of business from 6.30 pm be consideration of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022.

(8) Divisions may take place after 6.30 pm for the purposes of the bill only.

(9) The Senate adjourn without debate at 11 pm, or on the motion of a minister, whichever is earlier.

Thursday, 1 December 2022

(10) The hours of meeting on Thursday, 1 December 2022 be 9 am till adjournment.

(11) The routine of business be:

(a) consideration of private senators' bills under standing order (57)(1)(d)(i);

(b) government business only;

(c) at 2 pm, questions;

(d) motions to take note of answers;

(e) notices of motion;

(f) a report of the Selection of Bills committee;

(g) government business only; and

(h) at 5.30 pm, consideration of the Restoring Territory Rights Bill 2022.

(12) After consideration of the Restoring Territory Rights Bill 2022 has concluded, bills be called on in the following order and considered until determined:

Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022

Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Reform (Closing the Hole in the Ozone Layer) Bill 2022

Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Amendment Bill 2022

Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Manufacture Levy) Amendment Bill 2022

Broadcasting Services Amendment (Community Radio) Bill 2022

Animal Health Australia and Plant Health Australia Funding Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.

(13) Divisions may take place after 4.30 pm.

(14) The Senate adjourn without debate on the motion of a minister.

The Greens will be supporting this; we want to facilitate the NACC, the IR and the territory rights bills to be passed this week. That is our preference. We know we're still negotiating over some amendments, but we want these pieces of legislation passed this year.
