I wish to add to an answer to a question from Senator Urquhart. I have been advised that contrary to the newspaper report today in the Burnie Advocate, NBN has been working cooperatively with the north-west heart care clinic to provide a suitable internet service which meets their particular needs. When the issue was raised last week with NBN, they immediately visited the site to assist the business. NBN has tested the speeds at the private health clinic and has undertaken to augment the NBN network in this area as a priority. NBN has also committed to installing an additional node closer to the health precinct to meet the needs of the healthcare campus, including north-west healthcare. The work on the new node has already commenced. It is planned to be available by August.
