I draw to the attention of honourable senators the presence in the chamber of a parliamentary delegation from the Japanese House of Councillors, led by His Excellency Mr Otsuji, Vice President of the House of Councillors. On behalf of all senators, I wish you a warm welcome to the Australian parliament and in particular to the Senate.
