by leave—I move:

(1)
That the routine of business for the remainder of the day be as follows:
(a)
government business order of the day no. 1 (appointment of joint committees);
(b)
committee memberships;
(c)
government business order of the day no. 2 (National Apology to the Stolen Generations);
(d)
consideration of a motion on rural and regional Australia, as circulated in the chamber;
(e)
at 6 pm, consideration of government documents under general business;
(f)
not later than 7 pm, consideration of committee reports and government responses under standing order 62(1); and
(g)
not later than 8 pm, adjournment proposed.
(2)
That the total time for items (1) (c), (d) and (e) be no more than 2 hours and 30 minutes.
