In accordance with the provisions of the Parliament Act 1974, I present a proposal for works within the Parliamentary Zone to redevelop the National Library of Australia forecourt to create the Humanities and Science Campus Square. I seek leave to give a notice of motion in relation to the proposal.

I give notice that, on Thursday, 13 September 2007, I shall move:

That, in accordance with section 5 of the Parliament Act 1974 , the Senate approves the proposal by the National Capital Authority for capital works within the Parliamentary Zone, to redevelop the National Library of Australia forecourt to create the Humanities and Science Campus Square.
