I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That the Senate:

(1) notes the referral of the provisions of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 16 June 2026; and

(2) directs the Committee, in respect of that inquiry, to:

(a) note the referral of the inquiry;

(b) immediately call for submissions;

(c) set a closing date for submissions of no earlier than Friday 29 May 2026; and

(d) hold at least two public hearings of no less than 8 hours each.
