by leave—I rise to inform the Senate of changes to the arrangements in the National Party. Senator Canavan's been elected the leader of the parliamentary National Party. For clarity, I remain Leader of the Nationals in the Senate, Senator McDonald remains Deputy Leader of the Nationals in the Senate and Senator Cadell will undertake the position of Acting Nationals Whip until 1 April 2026.
