Do you know what's putting pressure on housing in Australia? It's opposition parties and Independents voting against housing being built. That's what's putting pressure on it. These hypocrites here get up and try to use their mealy-mouthed phrases about 'migration' and 'Australian values' and then, every time we try to do something about housing, they vote against it.
Senator Bragg is not alone. We have Senator Scarr, who I acknowledge does a lot of work in his Queensland multicultural community. He goes as far as giving speeches in here speaking to Australians of Indian heritage—
