The Senate has on multiple occasions rejected the public interest immunity claim advanced by the government, and the order has still not been complied with. It is curious then as to why the Greens are willing to back down on such an important issue relating to the future of the NDIS. The coalition, unlike Labor and the Greens—with the notable exception perhaps of Senator Steele-John—won't be backing down on this issue and will continue to stand up for all Australians who rely on the NDIS.
