It is with deep regret that I inform the Senate of the death on 14 November 2024 of the Hon. John Charles Hodges, a former minister and member of the House of Representatives for the division of Petrie in Queensland from 1974 to 1983 and from 1984 to 1987. I understand that arrangements will be made to move a motion of condolence at a future date.
