My question is to the Minister representing the Prime Minister, Senator Birmingham. Yesterday the Minister for Defence claimed twice, for complete clarity, that she had met with the Australian Federal Police on two occasions, with the first meeting being on 1 April 2019 with Ms Higgins and her then chief of staff. The minister was then forced to correct the record. This is the second time this week that the Minister for Defence has been forced to correct her statements during question time. Does the Prime Minister have full confidence in the minister's account to the parliament in relation to these matters?
