Asking a question like this demeans your position.

Of course a strong a nd consistent approach to national security is important.

How about what steps has Government taken since the election to ensure a continuous supply of Petrol Oil and Lubricants?
or
What factors will the Government use to determine whether to participate in an international campaign to ensure that the Iranian Regime does not cut off the flow of petrol to free world?

or
Why doaes the Government not support the right of the people of Free China to continue to live under a democratically elected government?

or
WHy does the Government tolerate a Red Chinese Spy ship intruding into our hemisphere?
