I thank all senators who have contributed to this debate. In relation to the matter Senator Leyonhjelm has raised, the interpretation applied by the government has been consistently applied by this government and its predecessors and is based on the longstanding interpretation of the Senate executive compact of 1965, and its modification in 1999. I commend the bill to the Senate.
