I had not planned to make a contribution to the address-in-reply speech by His Excellency the Governor-General a couple of weeks ago, not that there would have been anything inappropriate if I had. I just felt compelled to respond to the contribution of Senator Wong and the briefing that took place today by the opposition, around this building, in relation to the management of the government's legislative program.
