My question is to the Minister representing the Treasurer, Senator Cormann. I refer to the minister's statement yesterday that 'this side of the chamber are focused on policies that strengthen growth'. Minister, is Mr Nigel Ray, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, correct to say that, under the Abbott-Turnbull government, Australia is experiencing 'a prolonged period of below-par growth, the likes of which we have rarely seen outside of a recession?
