Leaving aside the unauthorised downloading of copyrighted content, when there are big operators who are stealing the intellectual property of a movie studio or a television studio, where they are undertaking a commercial enterprise that is clearly causing serious economic loss to the owners of the copyright—in those cases, given the seriousness of the offence, can metadata be accessed to aid in a prosecution?
