My notice of motion highlights the fact that a vessel owned by Sea Shepherd, a company that former Senator Bob Brown chairs, has spilled oil into the Trinity Inlet of the Great Barrier Reef. The motion asks the Senate to note that not only did the Sea Shepherd do it but also the Sea Shepherd organisation was fined $15,000. It noted that Dr Brown was the head of that organisation.
