First, in relation to offsetting savings, I invite the minister to consider some of the documents released at budget and also what was made clear by the then government, including at estimates, about the long-term funding plans for both of those major initiatives of the former Labor government. I remind him that he opposed, and is opposing, a number of them still, which means he is going to have to find the money elsewhere or spend less money on DisabilityCare and on education. I also want to note that, despite all the bravado about making sure that they are responsible, the minister declined to indicate that the government would be offsetting all new expenditure—or maybe I missed that.
