I am concerned that the minister is going to have a unilateral, unfettered and absolute discretion to extinguish an export by an Australian corporation, with no right of reply, by-your-leave or any other expression of disdain or dissent from such a decision. Is that appropriate? It may well be, but it gets a bit nerve racking when you give all this power to the minister.
