Thank you, Mr President. I thought I should draw to the attention of the Senate the fact that, when it comes to interest in either the arts or the sport portfolio, the opposition has been asleep for a year. One of the things a government can do when it does not have to pay $8 billion a year of interest on a $96 billion public debt is spend money on community infrastructure. That is something that the Howard government has done.
