Mr President, I ask a supplementary question. I regard the minister as sympathetic on the interdependency issue, but do I really need to remind the Senate that Mr Howard made a promise to Mr Warren Entsch and many other Liberals—never mind to the Democrats—to fix the problem this year? Do I need to remind the minister that this budget was expected to be the time to do it? Do you ask yourself what on earth the world is coming to when the Prime Minister cannot be trusted to keep his word to his own people?
