With all of these assessments for projects, the relevant authorities that are making the assessments should be allowed to go through proper process. As I understand it, it is in fact a controlled action, as Senator Milne has indicated, and it is currently being reviewed and assessed by my department under the appropriate provisions of the federal Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. I will await the advice of my department.
