My question is to the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Senator Helen Coonan, representing the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women’s Issues. Will the minister update the Senate on the opportunities available to women in Australia and the significant strides made by women since the coalition came to government? Further, is the minister aware of any impending milestones for women in public life?
