In accordance with the Intelligence Services Act 2001, the honourable members for Bruce and Fremantle cease to be members of the committee on their appointments to the ministry. The Speaker has received advice from the honourable the Prime Minister nominating members to be members of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security.
