I have received a letter from the honourable member for Holt, resigning from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security. In accordance with the Intelligence Services Act 2001 the honourable member for Goldstein ceased to be a member of the committee on his appointment to the ministry. I have also received advice from the honourable the Prime Minister nominating members to be members of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security.
