Today, in the Northern Territory, the mighty barramundi has been declared the official fish emblem of the Northern Territory. I know a lot of fishos out there will be very happy to hear that, and, in that same vein, I want to talk about the fantastic people at the Palmerston Game Fishing Club in my electorate. This Sunday, they're hosting Buddy Boats Day out at the Elizabeth River boat ramp. Buddy Boats Day is where the Palmerston Game Fishing Club take out young Territorians with disabilities to go fishing. I want to recognise the great work being done by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club, particularly the president, Paul Williams, but also Kris Noble, the Secretary of the Palmerston Game Fishing Club, who has done the bulk of the organising, along with Mark Bailey. Total Recreation are a partner in this event and the sponsors are a great company up in Darwin called MasterBait. For the record, they sell bait and they're a sponsor of this event. I thank Ken Vowles and Tony Sievers from the NT government and everyone else who is donating their time and their boats for this fantastic event. I will be down there putting on a barbecue, because I'm putting a survey out to the users of the Elizabeth River boat ramp to ask what sorts of upgrades they would like to this great facility for the people of Palmerston.
