I have received advice from the chief government whip that he has nominated Mrs Prentice to be a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade in place of Mr Simpkins.

That Mr Simpkins be discharged from the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade and that, in his place, Mrs Prentice be elected a member of the committee.
