I wish to acknowledge that in the gallery we have present with us the Premier of Queensland, Mr Campbell Newman, the Hon. Adam Giles MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, and the Hon. Bess Price MLA, a minister of the Northern Territory government. We also have present with us the Vice-Minister of Defense for Japan, Mr Takeda, and Japan's Australian ambassador.
