On indulgence, I was very pleased to move on 7 February this year a formal address from the Australian Parliament to Her Majesty the Queen on the diamond jubilee. This is a year-long celebration with many events but, as the Leader of the Opposition has noted, this is a particular weekend of celebration in Great Britain and beyond, and Australia will be represented at that celebration by the Governor-General.
