Mr Speaker, I wish to make a personal explanation.

Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?

Most grievously.

Tonight during the adjournment debate the member for Hasluck stated that no-one from the Labor Party has been raising the issue of the brickworks at Perth airport. I have raised the concerns of local residents on many occasions, publicly and in this place. As recently as today’s consideration in detail of the appropriation bills in the Main Committee I asked the minister specific questions relating to the brickworks and was surprised that the member for Hasluck was missing in action during the debate.
