Oil for Food Program

I have received a letter from the honourable member for Griffith proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely:

The failure of the Government to properly administer the United Nations Oil for Food Program resulting in the payment of $300 million by AWB Limited to the Saddam regime.

I call upon those members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
