Imagine a clean energy system so small it fits in the back of a ute but powerful enough to run nearly a thousand homes continuously for a whole five years without using a drop of water. That is the modern nuclear microreactor. An Australian team has actually built one in America in just over 155 days, proving how fast and safe and easy it is to move this technology and what it's become.

Our world and technology are changing rapidly. AI is booming and massive computer data centres need more power non-stop, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While solar panels and wind turbines produce so-called green energy, computers, hospitals and factories cannot simply stop working when the sun sets or the wind drops. Around the world, companies already use these mini-nuclear generators to power data centres, remote mines and towns cheaply without polluting the air. Yet right here in Australia, old federal laws made decades ago keep this clean energy technology banned in Australia. It is time to update our laws by lifting the nuclear moratorium. We can power our digital future, lower our electricity bills, protect our environment and let Australian innovators build a cleaner, stronger energy system right here in Australia.
