Across our nation, Australians are being let down by a prime minister who says one thing but does another. Mr Albanese promised Australians they'd be better off under Labor. Instead, they are grappling with soaring grocery bills, skyrocketing power prices and a housing crisis that has put home ownership out of reach. The Prime Minister promised 91 times that electricity bills would fall by $275, yet Australians have seen some of the steepest energy price rises in recent memory. The PM denies membership of his local golf club that received a $6 million grant, yet not one of the hundreds of volunteer groups in my electorate were invited to apply.

O'Connor is paying for the ideological obsession with net zero. Industries are being driven offshore, small businesses are drowning in red tape and farmers are being squeezed from every direction. Farmland is being taken out of food and fibre production for carbon projects, renewable energy developments and transmission corridors.

Veterans have been let down by Labor's attempt to cap access to health care, and seniors face cuts to their private health insurance rebate. Young Australians can't afford a home, and the changes to capital gains tax and negative gearing are disincentives to invest. Mass migration remains too high, yet regional communities struggle to access the overseas workers they need. Australians have lost faith in this prime minister, whose words are not his bond.
