My question is to the Minister for Health and Ageing. Noni is a Redland resident and an aged pensioner living alone with muscular dystrophy. She's made significant sacrifices to maintain private health cover for more than 30 years, but further increases will force her to drop the cover she relies on heavily. Minister, why is your government continuing to seek to cut the private health insurance rebate for Australians like Noni, knowing this could force them into an already overstretched public health system?
