The original question was that this bill be now read a second time. To this the honourable member for Lindsay has moved an amendment that all words after 'That' be omitted with a view to substituting other words. The immediate question is that the amendment be agreed to.

As it is necessary to resolve this question to enable further questions to be considered in relation to this bill, in accordance with standing order 195 this bill will be returned to the House for further consideration.
