I'm very pleased to inform the House that joining us today on the floor of the parliament is a distinguished delegation from Malaysia, including my friend His Excellency Tan Sri Dato' Dr Johari bin Abdul, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia; Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, the Minister of Defence for Malaysia; and Her Excellency Datin Paduka Sharrina Abdullah, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Australia. I give a very warm welcome to you all.

I am also pleased to inform the House that present in the gallery today is a delegation of Venezuelan Australians who are visiting Parliament House today to meet with ministers and members of the government to share their perspectives on the recent devastating earthquakes in Venezuela and to thank the Australian government for its support. Also in the gallery is Mr Atsushi Karimata, the Consul-General of Japan in Western Australia. The state member for Bundamba, Lance McCallum, is joining us today as well.
