I'm pleased to inform the House that, as the Prime Minister indicated, the Hon. David J McGuinty, the Canadian minister of national defence, is in the distinguished visitors gallery today. I'm also welcoming, for the first time, His Excellency Dr Hillel Newman, the Ambassador of Israel to Australia. I'm pleased to inform the House that present in the gallery today are the 2026 recipients of the Nuffield Australia scholarships, awarded each year to Australian farmers to increase practical farming knowledge and management skills, as guests of the Hon. Bruce Scott, the former member for Maranoa.
