My question is to the Treasurer. Last week, the RBA governor confirmed that government spending is part of aggregate demand and 'contributing to inflationary pressures'. She said:
That's why we've decided to raise interest rates …
Will the Treasurer now finally accept that his spending has contributed to inflationary pressures and the interest rate rise, or is the independent RBA governor wrong?
