Well, they do love that because it told them that their student debt that had gone down by 20 per cent, something that was opposed by those opposite—like they oppose every single cost-of-living measure there is. These are the first 100,000 of about three million Australians who will be better off. By the end of this week, more than a million Australians will have got their text message informing them that this will make a difference to them, making it that bit easier to get the start in life they want, whether it's starting a family or saving for a house.
I want our government's policies to help Australians achieve their priorities—just like our five per cent deposit scheme for homebuyers, which is helping young Australians to get into the housing market. Since 1 October, nearly 10,000 Australians have bought their home using a five per cent deposit—promised by us and delivered by us to the benefit of Australians. That is our government's focus.
The coalition are focused on themselves. They're focused on tearing each other down and talking Australia down. Nothing's changed. They are divided, divisive and despairing. We're delivering right now in real time. That's what we do every day and it's what drives every single member of our government.
