I rise this afternoon to support and praise a boxer from Warrnambool, Brian Agina, who I saw fight in Mount Gambier on Saturday night. He's currently the Victorian super bantamweight titleholder, and he's currently the Australian super flyweight titleholder. Brian's career is going to go from strength to strength. He's a Kenyan who has come here and dedicated himself to the boxing cause, has settled into the local Warrnambool community, takes part-time jobs, sends remittances back to his family in Kenya and is determined to have a successful professional boxing career.

It was fantastic to see so many Warrnambool people over in Mount Gambier on Saturday night supporting Brian. They understand the hard work and dedication that he has put into his craft. We look forward to watching Brian's career go from success to success. He is a great example of someone who has taken the opportunities that have been presented to him by our wonderful, wonderful country, and he wants to go on and have a successful professional boxing career. I have no doubt that he will be successful and I look forward to watching his career go from strength to strength. Well done, Brian.
