Under this government's housing future fund, we will build more affordable and social housing to ensure that more people can live in safe and secure circumstances. The Australian government is also investing $67.5 million to boost homelessness services funding to states and territories over the next year. It's real policy that'll have real results.

Another big thing coming through on 1 July is cheaper child care. We are making it cheaper for one million Australian families. Anyone with children knows that child care is essential, but it is expensive and the costs have been going up. Under the Liberals and the Nationals it went up by 49 per cent, and that's shameful. Under our plan, it will come down. You can put your kids in chid care for longer and it will cost you less. More women will be able to go to work as a result.
