I ask leave of the House to amend the notice relating to the appointment of a Joint Select Committee on National Anti-Corruption Commission Legislation by adding the following words to the motion:

(2A) participating members may be appointed to the committee on the nomination of the Government Whip in the House of Representatives, the Opposition Whip in the House of Representatives, the Leader of the Government in the Senate, the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate or any minority party or independent senator or member of the House of Representatives;

(2B) participating members may participate in hearings of evidence and deliberations of the committee, and have all the rights of members of the committee, but may not vote on any questions before the committee;
