I have received messages from the Senate informing the House that Senator Scarr has been discharged from the Joint Committee on the Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity and that Senator McLachlan has been appointed as a member of the committee; that Senators Dodson and Green have been discharged from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights and that Senators O'Neill and Pratt have been appointed members of the committee; and that Senator Dean Smith has been discharged from the Joint Select Committee on Implementation of the National Redress Scheme and that Senator O'Sullivan has been appointed a member of the committee.
