It's important to understand what these amendments do and why they should not be agreed to. The Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility Amendment (Extension and Other Measures) Bill 2021 itself requires that terms and conditions of financial assistance provided to companies be set out in writing and complied with. I'll talk in a moment about what those terms and conditions are. These amendments we are being asked to agree to exclude assistance in the form of equity investment from that requirement. What does that mean? That means that, when the government takes an equity stake in a project—potentially, as we know, a fossil fuel project—it is not required to have a written agreement laying out the terms and conditions putting—
