The National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Streamlined Governance) Bill 2019 establishes streamlined governance arrangements that will simplify rule-making and decision-making under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act. The changes also support the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability by ensuring it has clear authority to obtain information from the NDIA and the NDIS commission. I would like to thank members for their contribution to this debate. I commend this bill to the House.
